Lew for Google: Gmail, Calendar and Contacts

Personal Gmail and Google Workspace accounts both work. Ask Lew about your inbox in your own words and get replies drafted in your voice, check what’s on and move your own events, and look people up in your contacts.

Draft to Joe Martinez
Hi Joe, thanks for the proposal. We’d like to go ahead with the pilot. Could we start in early November instead of October 20?

What Lew does

  • Searches and reads the emails you ask about, and answers with what matters, not a list of results.
  • Saves replies as drafts in your Gmail, in their own thread, and sends one only when you tap Send in AskLew and confirm. Lew can’t send on his own.
  • Reads the calendars you show in Google Calendar, including team and company calendars, and adds, moves or cancels your own events.
  • Looks people up in your Google Contacts, so “email Brett” finds Brett’s address instead of guessing.

How to connect

  1. 1Sign in at app.asklew.com and open Settings → Connections → Google.
  2. 2Sign in on Google’s own page and allow access. AskLew never sees your Google password.
  3. 3Gmail, Calendar and Contacts each have their own switch, so Lew uses only what you turn on.

What Lew can access

  • Lew uses your Google data only to carry out your requests. It’s never used to train AI models, sold, or used for ads.
  • Instructions hidden in an email are ignored: only you tell Lew what to do.
  • He never invites anyone or changes an event other people are on, and calendars shared with you are read-only to him.
  • Disconnect in Settings → Connections, or remove AskLew from your Google account, at any time.
