What Lew does

  • Answers in a direct message, in the same conversation as the app, the web and Telegram.
  • Uses the email and calendar accounts you connected in AskLew.
  • Saves drafts for you to send from the AskLew app, where every send asks for your confirmation.

How to connect

  1. 1Sign in at app.asklew.com and open Settings → Connections → Slack.
  2. 2Choose Add to Slack. Slack’s own page opens, where you pick your workspace.
  3. 3Open a direct message with AskLew in Slack and say hello.

What Lew can access

  • AskLew’s Slack app can read and send direct messages with you, and nothing else in your workspace.
  • It doesn’t read your channels or other people’s messages.
  • Remove it in Settings → Connections; the app leaves the workspace when the last person using it removes it.
